Every mold manufactured at Zeng Hsing must undergo four rigorous stages to ensure mold longevity and the quality of the final product:

Step 1: Mold Design (2D/3D)

     Mechanical engineers use specialized software to simulate the product and design the mold structure. This process involves detailed calculations of the runner system, gate locations, draft angles, and cooling systems to optimize cycle time.

Step 2: Selection of Specialized Steel Materials

     Depending on the customer’s desired production volume, Zeng Hsing advises on the selection of appropriate materials. We use hardened steel, stainless steel, or high-grade aluminum alloys to ensure resistance to wear, high-pressure tolerance, and resistance to deformation during continuous injection molding.

Step 3: Precision CNC Machining and EDM

     We use CNC milling machines, lathes, and EDM wire-cut machines to drill, cut, and shape the mold cavity and core components. This step determines the dimensional accuracy and surface finish of the final plastic product.

Step 4: Assembly of Components and Test Molding

     The mold cavity and core are assembled with the ejection system, guide system, and cooling system to form a complete mold assembly. The mold is then mounted on the injection molding machine for test runs (T1, T2) to check for defects and adjust technical parameters before mass production begins.
